CINEMALAYA Philippine Independent Film Festival 2014 is celebrating Year 10. And the excitement has started! In the facebook of Mell Navarro he annouced that just recently, hours after deliberation of the Cinemalaya selection committee, few filmmakers’ names was posted on PEP Alerts (Twitter account of PEP.PH) They are in, mga pasok daw as “semi-finalists” in the DIRECTORS SHOWCASE Category, until gathered three (3) more names na pasok rin daw at na-interview na rin like the others. In the tradition of Cinemalaya theres only 5 Directors that will be in the final list. Kung hindi magbabago ang tradition, TOP 5 lamang po ang kukunin. This list is temporary, a collection from PEP Alerts and some sources. It's not yet officially coming from Cinemalaya but as we have posted this there's no “violent reactions” yet na maaaring may nakasamang di dapat.
